Clients needs
The client wanted to reduce reliance on the national grid and transition towards a sustainable future. With plans to install an all-electric air source heat pump and purchase an EV, they required a solar PV system that could support increasing energy demands while maximising efficiency and long-term cost savings.
LCS Energy’s Solution
LCS energy installed a 5.98kW Solar PV system comprising 13 x Aiko 460w all black solar panels, paired with a GivEnergy 10kW Hybrid Inverter and 10.2kW GivEnergy high voltage stackable battery storage system. A whole-house emergency power supply (EPS) was included for uninterrupted electricity during outages, alongside an EV charger for smart energy integration.
Results
Significant Energy Savings – The system offsets electricity costs, with surplus energy generating export payments.
Carbon Footprint Reduction – The system offsets 1,045kg of CO₂ annually, equivalent to planting 41 trees.
Enhanced Energy Security – The emergency power supply ensures electricity during outages.
Future-Proof Design – The modular setup allows easy expansion for increased energy needs.
This project highlights the benefits of a well-planned solar PV system in achieving long-term sustainability and financial savings.
